Board Academy hosts unforgettable 10-day surf camps on the beautiful island of Limnos, Greece, catering to children and teens aged 6 to 19. These immersive adventures are designed to help participants discover nature, develop new skills, and build lifelong friendships in a safe and inspiring natural environment. Camps offer daily lessons in kitesurfing, windsurfing, wave surfing, SUP, and kayaking, with carefully structured training programs suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders. The full-day schedules include beach games, team challenges, and evening activities, all supervised and instructed by certified, experienced coaches. Limnos is a peaceful, windswept island in the northern Aegean Sea, known for its golden beaches, crystal-clear water, and ideal conditions for water sports. Board Academy's base is located in Lichna Bay, a calm, enclosed inlet with exceptionally shallow, knee-deep waters extending up to 50 meters, creating a safe learning environment. The offshore wind and enclosed geography make it secure for all watersports. The private bay ensures a quiet, focused space for children's development, fun, and well-being, free from other commercial operations. Beyond the beach, campers can explore traditional villages, volcanic rock formations, and authentic Greek island culture. Accommodation is provided in custom-built tents directly on the beach, with campers sleeping in pairs or groups of three under protective shade. The camp offers essential facilities for hygiene, including toilets, outdoor showers, and changing rooms. Meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner) are prepared by an in-house chef using organic vegetables from local farmers and fresh local dairy products, promoting healthy eating habits and discouraging junk food. The camp also embraces a digital detox philosophy, fostering real friendships and eco-awareness through activities like reducing plastic use and beach clean-ups. Additional activities outside the bay include cliff jumping, sandboarding, visits to the salt lake, exploring Myrina's capital and historic fortress, tennis, and evening trips for ice cream or beach sleepovers.
