The Corfu Lawn Tennis Club has a rich history dating back to 1896. The club proudly hosts the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (J60 Theodoros Kalantzis Cup), a prestigious international tournament that was revived in August 1997 under the presidency of Panos Karamanos and further upgraded under Theodoros Kalantzis. In 2024, the club and the Hellenic Tennis Federation (E.F.O.A.) received the "Tournament Recognition Longevity Award" from the ITF, acknowledging their flawless and continuous organization of 25 consecutive Junior tournaments. The J60 Corfu Cup was renamed the J60 Theodoros Kalantzis Cup in honor of the late Theodoros Kalantzis' significant contributions. Many notable athletes, including Elena Daniilidou, Dudi Sela, Dominic Thiem, Laszlo Djere, Maria Sakkari, Matteo Arnaldi, and Flavio Cobolli, have participated in the ITF tournament in Corfu, going on to achieve global careers. The club also received the "Tournament Recognition Award" in 2024 for its excellent organization, leading to its inclusion in the ITF's official tournament calendar and Roll of Honour. Beyond international events, the club operates a Tennis Academy and organizes various national and internal tournaments.
