Ekfrasis Dance Studio

Ekfrasis Dance Studio is the first dance school in Chania that introduced the city to Latin, Tango, Oriental, and other modern dances. Founded in 1999 by people with an inexhaustible love for dance and humanity, it offers a vibrant space for all. The school provides opportunities for those who wish to pursue dance professionally, offering professional dance diplomas through the International Dance Teachers Association (I.D.T.A.) and participation in dance competitions. This pathway allows students to become proficient dancers and even future dance teachers. Annually, the studio enriches its program with diverse dance styles from around the world, introducing students to new music, movements, cultures, and experiences. We offer programs for all levels, from beginners to advanced, with specialized classes for children, adults, and competitive dance.
